Nominees must be women who serve as outstanding role models for girls and must be residents of Madison County. They should be women who are involved in their communities: active, ethical women who give of themselves to local concerns. No previous Girl Scout experience is required. The categories are: Outstanding Professional Woman Outstanding Volunteer Outstanding Educator Outstanding Young Woman (Age 19-35) Lifetime Achievement Each nominee will receive a certificate of merit and be recognized at the banquet. Category winners will receive an award recognizing them as one of this year's Outstanding Women and have her name added to the plaque in the Madison County Courthouse.
