The Summit has now evolved into an annual event that attracts hundreds of nonprofit executives, professionals and volunteers from around the state of Alabama. In 2006, the Summit theme will be "Raising our Standards, Raising our Voices," a message about how nonprofits must strive to become more accountable custodians of the public's trust and charitable investment, and more proactively share their informed perspectives with policy makers, the media, and the community at large.
