This special ceremony will include a balloon release in memory of the children killed by child abuse in Madison County during the last fiscal year. We will raise the Children's Memorial Flag in memory of all children who have been victims of child abuse. The campus will be lined with pinwheels representing the children affected by child abuse in Madison County over the last fiscal year. We will close the ceremony with a proclamation from our local dignitaries of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month.
