Working at the NCAC
At the National Children’s Advocacy Center (NCAC), we are united by our dedication to protecting children and strengthening the global response to child abuse. We are committed to building a sustainable future for our organization while upholding our core values and delivering exceptional support to our clients, partners, and each other.
Our team of around 70 staff members works primarily on our picturesque campus just outside the Old Town Historic District in Huntsville, Alabama. We also have approximately 15% of our team working in hybrid or fully remote roles across several states in the eastern and central time zones.
While our work can be challenging, we foster a supportive and collaborative culture. We celebrate achievements, express gratitude, and support one another through both successes and difficulties. We value meaningful connections and stay engaged through in-person and virtual gatherings, departmental meetings, employee appreciation events, and festive celebrations.
Join us in making a difference and be a part of a team dedicated to creating a lasting impact.
We Value a Welcoming and Supportive Culture
The NCAC believes it is important to be inclusive and to foster belonging not only for our clients but also for our staff, partners, and global audiences. We recognize and appreciate the importance of creating an environment in which all employees feel valued, included, and empowered to do their best work and bring innovative ideas to the table. We are seeking candidates who are ready to join us on our learning journey of how to be increasingly culturally responsive and supportive to diverse staff, clients, and associates around the world.
We Offer Competitive Benefits
Our comprehensive benefits package is available to all full-time and eligible part-time employees and is based on the premise that NCAC and staff share a common interest in the success of the work that needs to be done and the wellbeing of those who do it. Highlights of our benefits are:
- Paid leave including vacation and sick leave
- Holidays
- Medical, Dental, Vision and Life insurance
- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) for medical and childcare expenses
- Retirement savings via a 401(k) plan with a 100% match of the employee’s contributions up to 5% of their salary
- Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)
We Are Proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer
The NCAC is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a workforce that is representative of the clients, partners, and global audiences we serve, creating a culture of belonging, and providing an equal employment opportunity regardless of race, creed, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability, age, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy or related condition (including breastfeeding), expecting or parents-to-be, or any other basis protected by law.

Looking for Internships?
We have limited unpaid intern opportunities. Positions for undergraduate and graduate students in our Intervention and Prevention programs are usually filled at least one or two semesters ahead of time and are often coordinated through local colleges and universities, so please plan ahead.
